Kim Montee Cavataio, Performance Division:

My name is Kim Montee Cavataio and I would like to take a
moment to introduce myself and give you a brief outline of my
experience and interactions with the Peruvian Horse.

I began my affection for the Peruvian Paso Horse in 1970. My
mother and grandfather were both horse breeders and showmen.
I have spent over 30 years of my life teaching new owners
and juniors equitation, horsemanship, grooming, gait, and
understanding of the Peruvian horse. I have been a carded U.S.
Judge for over 12 years. In that time I have judged 2 U.S National
shows. In 2005 the U.S. National show had almost 400 horses
attending. Along with this I have also judged Canadian Regional
and National shows and in Central America. I am also a Ring
Steward and carded Show Steward.
In addition, I also judge open breed shows.

My list of accomplishments started when I won High Point Jr.
many times. I then went on to National Championships and
National Laureado wins. Some of my most memorable wins were
the title of US National Laureado Performance Stallion on my
aunts horse and riding my personal gelding to be the top money
winning horse of the 2001 & 2003 Futurity along with multiple
Laureado titles and Medallion de Oro winner for 2001.

Thank you for the invitation to be your judge for 2011. I look
forward to the show, seeing your horses and meeting all you.

Sincerely, Kim Montee Cavataio
